SES Info for the first days of school on 9/1 and 9/2

Hello SES Community,

We are excited to start the 2021-22 school year with students tomorrow! It was a pleasure meeting many of you last week at our Back to School Night. Hopefully you feel informed and ready for success tomorrow. Just in case, here are a few things to remember:

  • All JUNIORS will start their day at 11:15am on 9/1 and at 7:45am on 9/2. Transportation is running (including for the modified timeframe on 9/1. You should have received an email with the details of your pickup/drop off times. If you didn't please contact transportation for more information: (651) 423-7685. Please remember that a portion of our time together will be spent outside. Students should dress for the weather (rain or shine) and make sure to have shoes that are conducive to canoeing and walking around our campus. Sunscreen and a water bottle are also needed. **Bring emergency medications you might need including inhalers and epi-pens.

  • Any SENIOR who is in the GREEN House will be going rafting tomorrow. There is a form that is required in MyPaymentsPlus to fill out prior to the trip. The form gives information, allows parents to grant permission for the trip, facilitates the payment of the fee associated with the trip, and allows students to order a bag lunch for the trip. If you are having trouble- please call the office TODAY (952) 431-8752. Green House students will come to school on 9/2 for a workshop on post high school options. The workshop, from 11:15am-2:15pm, is required. Students who are interested, (or need to take district transportation which will only run at the beginning and end of the school day on 9/2) can come for an optional help session for their summer reading assignment starting at 7:45am. Breakfast and lunch are available free of charge.
