SES Graduation is Outside @ 7 PM
The 2023 Graduation Ceremony will be OUTSIDE at the MN Zoo!
We have decided to proceed with an outdoor graduation this evening! Please watch the weather and note the forecasted heat index and the slight chance of rain.
There will NOT be tickets at the MN Zoo. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. Out of respect for all, we recommend no more than four guests per graduate.
Guests will not be allowed entrance to the Zoo prior to 6:15 p.m. Please be respectful of this as the Zoo is open for business until 6 p.m. and cannot manage our guests until they have gotten all of theirs out for the day.
Please note, there is quite a long walk to get from the parking area to the amphitheater. Please plan accordingly as wheelchairs, strollers, etc. are not available at the Zoo tonight; however, the MN Zoo does have a golf cart to transport a limited number of guests to the amphitheater.
Other notes for the MN Zoo

Please park by the main entrance (Dolphin or Gibbon lots) . Guests will enter the Zoo through the East entrance starting at 6:15 p.m.

As a reminder, please do not bring any balloons to graduation. Balloons pose a health risk for animals and are strictly prohibited at the Zoo.

Please note, a light rain will NOT prohibit us from holding the ceremony outdoors. Please monitor the weather and plan to bring ponchos/raincoats if you feel you may need them. Umbrellas are NOT permitted in the Zoo amphitheater.
